Russia . Transbaikalia territory, Mogocha district, village Amazar . Amazar river – the first major tributary of the Amur River after the formation of the merger Shilka and Argun , plays an important role in the Amur ecosystem. This place is the maximum concentration of fish in the Transbaikal Salmoniformes primarily Siberian taimen – a species introduced in the International Red Book and the IUCN Red Data Book of the Trans-Baikal region. On Amazar and its tributaries are 5 of 7 large settlements Mogochenskogo area, and the surrounding forests are home to traditional forest inhabitants taiga settlements and potential resource base for the development of the forest industry. It is these natural resources – the river and the forest, which depends on the life and development of the entire region, more than 10 years attracted the attention of businessmen from China. Back in 2002, Chita Region and Heilongjiang Province signed a somewhat different pulp mill project – with a different technology , other investors , and the volume of production at another site . Since then the idea of its construction covered garbage timber in China for the transition Pokrovka Loguhe, giving reason to believe that the transition is one of the main goals of the enterprise.
